for love and war

october of 2008 brought on the greatest stock market crash that the world had ever seen. and the months following that month, dark october, would bring more chaos and turmoil to the financial world then anything anyone could have predicted. families lost everything, resorted to living in cars, on the streets, and scavenging for food. things like school and pastimes became unimportant when held in the company with just work in general.

families did everything they could to keep their heads above water, but soon they were desperate and unconcerned about consequences. they stole, they fought, and they killed. those who wouldn't resort to the savagery ran to other countries in hope that things would be better. that was when the wars broke out. countries turning on one another in an attempt to save themselves and their people.

countries like the united states didn't fair well. most of the major cities were destroyed. la, miami, san fracisco, and new york were hit the hardest. la and new york were the only ones to survive the attacks, but just barely. now in the year 2017 things are getting worse and there are few who have any hope left. but in new york, mob families are banning together, billionaires are helping where they can, and civilians are just trying to make it. where do you fall? where do you stand when it comes down between love and war?
